Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These steers were easy to handle through all aspects of the yards. A percentage did slightly resent being mouthed and needled but this is nothing uncommon. These steers are typical of chopper mustered cattle and require being steady through gateways. Overall these steers were a pleasure to assess and I believe the buyer will have no trouble.

Assessor Comments
Buyers please see an opportunity to purchase 3 decks of Santa/Red Brangus/ Droughtmaster EU Grassland steers that would be ideal to feed or go back to the paddock with and take through to heavy EU bullocks. They would be best described as store condition steers with plenty of frame, typical of steers at this time of year and I believe the successful purchaser should expect good compensatory gains. You can buy with confidence knowing they were all mouthed at assessment with 62 being milk tooth and 16 presenting with two tooth, of these a large percentage were just breaking two teeth. These steers are renown for their performance on both grain or grass and are highly sort after by repeat buyers. Buyers please note there is 3 steers in the mob with fly rub on their necks but it was not considered to be detrimental.
