These heifers have had ample human interaction. They were containment fed for 3 months and are very content with humans. Refer video of the heifers in the yards. The odd heifer was quick out of the crush but settled immediately once released and in a bigger pen.

Assessor Comments
Buronga Pastoral are offering 275 NSM Angus x Angus heifers. Offered as 80, 80, 80 and 35 head and delivered as a run out the gate. These heifers were purchased in from late March to early May and containment fed hay, silage and straw. Recently they have been rotationally grazing in a large mob and are currently on a cereal wheat crop until delivery. Offering immediate compensatory gains, presenting in fresh store condition carrying no excess fat cover and their skins are starting to clean up with spring conditions. The temperament of the mob was terrific and typical of cattle that have been containment fed - refer video. They are 100% antibiotic free and grass fed eligible. A large 20% tail was removed at assessment including bad eyes not deemed fit for feedlot entry. They were all weighed +250kg full presenting in a relatively tight weight group and ideal as a trade to background for feedlot entry or fatten for the kill. Vendor is offering 48 coloured heifers in today’s sale also.
