Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Weaners were good to handle in the yards, they worked well through the yards having been through the draft and crush only twice prior to assessment. There was no signs of aggression from any weaners although the odd one stirred up when put under pressure or was separated from there mates. Weaners have been tailed out on bikes and with dogs and are learning the ropes well.

Assessor Comments
A good line of 106 weaned steers presented as part of the vendors annual turnoff. The steers are currently being weaned and handled by the vendors, they are bred in tick free country north of Aramac on mostly spinifex type country, so expect these steers to really fire ahead on fresh feed. Some of the steers are showing plenty of winter coat but are presented in good strong order ready to travel anywhere. This line is showing plenty of opportunity for feeder backgrounders.
