These steers handled fairly well overall. A small number became agitated in the head bail during mouthing and drenching, but quickly settled once back in the mob. Cattle had been through the yards earlier in the day prior to assessment which meant a small number stirred up slightly in confined yards, but again quickly settle once back in the mob.

Buyers a single deck line of soft EU accredited Droughtmaster feeder steers that would suit a variety of markets. Running on softwood scrub country, these steers have had a good start are are primed and ready to power ahead. Steers present in good condition with room to grow and show good bone and body. Ideal animals to return to grass to finish or put onto feed. The vendor has been breeding Droughtmaster cattle for over 40 years with an emphasis on softness and finishing ability. Buyers in tick free areas be aware these cattle are located in a tick infested area and will require clearing at buyers expense. Be advised the vendor has another lot 3 deck lot in the sale also.

Cattle are located in a tick infested area. Cattle have been treated with dectomax injectable at assessment to assist with entry into clean area however all clearing costs will be at buyers expense. [Please note: It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to satisfy all state compliances in regard to the movement of this lot.]
