Steers were extremely quiet in the yards and were very good to handle in and through the yards. They were very good in and exiting crush with most standing quietly while being weighed. The cattle have been handled using Low Stress Stock handling techniques and in the paddock are educated to single wire electric fences.

A good to very good quality line of vendor bred Angus weaner steers. They are 40% medium and 60% large frame and they are ideal to take forward to export feeder weights. They were yard weaned in early April and have been handled using Low Stress Stock Handling techniques and are extremely quiet. They are educated to hay racks and self feeders. They have had two shots of Bovilis MH + IBR vaccine (Treated 24/04/24 - Bottle ID 343190 Batch 2320801 Exp 12-2024). No active pink eye was observed but a few steers had watery eyes and will be rechecked for any active pink eye prior to delivery. They are located just off the Barwon Highway approx 15 km west of Goondiwindi and would be easy to link into any carriers moving north or south. Very good quality Angus steers that will continue to move ahead on feed and suit a range of high end markets.
