Heifers were a pleasure to handle right throughout the weighing, drafting & photo/video process. Heifers worked well & folded through 'Brooklyn' yards quickly with little man power. These heifers were weighed/assessed in the crush on a platform & then drafted two ways out the front. A small portion became agitated in yards as these facilities are new for heifers only being through them after purchase. A small portion became agitated in the crush but again not best facilities on offer.

Assessor Comments
A tidy line of Angus & Angus x Hereford dual purpose heifers, 12-14 months of age, NSM, presenting in fresh forward store condition. Heifers since arrival have been noted to be powering ahead in condition & will keep going given the correct nutrition. A 10% tail was removed @ assessment which keeps it a very close weight range of 308-388kg to average 341kg full weight. Heifers present with shiny coats which display great bone & growth to hit numerous domestic targets or can be taken home & joined to purchasers bull of choice to then calve out in the prime spring months. Future breeding heifers that have the genetics behind them that the intended purchaser can aim for multiple avenues offering an each way bet. Vendor focuses on a trading enterprise rather then a breeding program which is the reason for selling. RARE OPPORTUNITY NOT TO BE MISSED as young females are the future of the cattle industry.
