18 Rising one year old South Devon steers full weight average 386kg Range 318kg to 434kg in very forward condition. 14 Apricot colour and 4 Black steers. Steers show good body development growth and good carcass suitability. Are close to condition for slaughter type, butcher steers with a coverage of soft condition being displayed with rubbing hand over rib and loin area. Paddock fed with approximately 80 liters of rolled barley ration daily and quality wheaten and barley hay. These steers are in a rapid growth stage and given forage crop or full grain ration will gain weight quickly. Note calved in August 2023 up to date with vaccines.
