14 GOOD QUALITY SANTA GERTRUDIS/ ANGUS CROSS WEANER STEERS, AVERAGING 277KGS CURFEWED AT ASSESSMENT, STEERS HANDLED WELL THROUGH THE YARD WITH 4 HEAD SLIGHTLY UNSETTLED WHEN IN THE CRUSH OR UNDER PRESSURE BUT ONCE RELEASED SETTLED QUICKLY. STEERS ARE OF GOOD BONE, LARGE FRAME & TIDY AROUND THE HEAD, HAVE BEEN ON NATIVE & IMPROVED PASTURE, HAVE ALSO HAD ACCESS TO BARLEY STRAW AND SILAGE. STEERS WERE EARLY WEANED LAST YEAR DUE TO THE DRY CONDITIONS BUT ARE REALLY STARTING TO GO FORWARD WITH THE RECENT RAINS BEING EXPERIENCED.
