Mostly good to handle in the yards, race and crush. Eight became slightly stirry when isolated but settled once back in the yards. Seven steers became stirry when in the crush and forcefully exited. All settled once back with the herd and remained quiet when being photographed.

A line of 50% good and 30% very good quality Angus yearling steers with the remaing being fair. These steers have been yard weaned on oaten hay and were moved to oats in August with access to Urea based water medications. They have done very well and will remain on oats untill delivery. Sired by Booroomooka blood bulls over Angus, Angus cross cows, Charalois x and Hereford/Santa Cows. They were assessed with a LWR of 197 - 422kg with 12 head under 240kg and only six steers over 360kg. Steers have had one dose of 7 in 1 and have been treated with Easy Dose. The steers suit as backgrounder steers to take to export feeder weights and finish for high quality markets. They also have not had access to grain and are PCAS eligible. Please note the sisters and straight Angus brothers of these steers are also listed in this auction. Located approximately 130km West of Goondiwindi off the Barwon Hwy.
