Assessor Comments
A very good draft of Angus and Angus Cross Steers. Approx 46 Steers vendor bred and 22 Steers purchased ex Pratt Family - Stanthorpe. Very good quality steers that show very good bone and muscling. Top of vendor bred steers only being sold to make room for more to go onto oats crop. Steers worked well through yards and crush. All tidy around head - polled or well dehorned. Have been on oats and would be ideal steers to take through to heavy feeders or heavy kill cattle. Note - vendor has 1 lot of heifers this sale. Note: Up until 10am Wednesday vendor has had 26mls of rain. This may affect projected weight gain on oats due to wet conditions. Buyers to make own judgement.
