Assessor Comments
Buyers, a deck lot of F1 Wagyu/Angus cross mixed sex weaners. The weaning process has been very effective on these, they are dead quiet. Ideal to background to heavier feeder weights. They don’t look to have had any setbacks, however there were two lighter heifers removed from the line. They are out of 1st calf heifers that arrived from Roma back in February in reasonably plain condition so I feel buyers haven’t seen the best of these weaners as yet. These are in store condition and being bred on lighter country, I would envisage they will provide plenty of compensatory gain and should fly ahead if they get access to good quality feed or crop on some heavier country. They also look to be in good health very clean in the muzzle and mostly clear in the eyes. Please find attached into the assessment all the pedigree data of the bulls. Noted a few with some rub marks around their eyes, most likely a result of Buffalo fly rubbing back in the summer months. No issues here though.
