1 Steer stirred up in yard and became aggressive, but in fairness he was put through the draft and crush several times at assessment. Overall steers were fine to handle in the yards.

Assessor Comments
A good line of feeder type steers presented as part of the vendors yearly turnoff. These steers have no age brands on them but would be the equivalent of No 9's. 18 Steers were mouthed, all were 4t. 1 Steer with old fly bite on his shoulders, refer photos. Steers are bred in forest spinifex type country, so expect to see excellent weight gains on better feed. Steers were good to handle in the yards, they worked well through the crush, but an odd steer stirred up when placed under pressure or away from its mates. PLEASE NOTE Vendor has another line of 99 Brahman Backgrounder Steers and 32 Crossbred Steers on offer in this sale.
