Assessor Comments
Wirruna and Yavenvale blood Poll Hereford sires have been the staple for the herd. They are out of large framed cows and will grow out given some time and feed. They are presenting in fresh store condition and carrying no excess fat cover. They offer immediate compensatory weight gains with a change in diet. It would be expected to have an odd weeping eye by delivery due to yard weaning. Genetically they have been grown out to bullocks in the past with success. Easy doing white faced steers that will suit taking on to feeder or kill weights for the promising future cattle market. Vendor is also offering 60 weaned steers from a later drop in today’s sale.
