Assessor Comments
Principally Good quality EU heifers in fresh store to forward condition. They have been running on good crop with access to roughage hay adlib. Rapidly improved with warm weather and quality crop. A number were observed with cycling behaviours. Parraweena has always invested strongly in quality seed stock. The addition of females from the longer established angus herd at Highbank adds to the breeding potential. Although not retained they remain an attractive line with potential. This leaves an attractive run of Angus heifers with length and scope. Bred with flexibility to satisfy most quality markets including both slaughter and restocker.Equally suitable to join and retain as future matrons. I noticed 4 head with old, light eye scar in the eye. There were 15 head with old ringworm scars showing. Visible in both photos & videos. The flexibilty to feed or grow onto most high value markets . Cattle held over a week( not offered) , returned to crop. Allowed .5kg only in ADG
