Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These were very good to handle in all aspects of the yards. They marched up the race very well and most were steady on the weighing platform, a few jumped about a bit. They were also good to handle in the bigger yards but like all cattle need to be steadied through gateways and stood up well during photographing. Buyer advised to settle these steers on arrival before letting them go out of the yards.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, a very good quality line of steers from a repeat user of AuctionsPlus. These have presented in store condition at assessment, this is a result of the seasonal conditions that have been below average up until 3 weeks ago. Buyers need to understand they are NOT buying any condition, hard to do at present, so as a result I would anticipate rapid compensatory weight gains on grass or crop. They have plenty of eye appeal, show good bone, length, depth of barrel and considering the season show adequate weight for age. The photos will also show they are nice and soft. All the hard work has been done: well bred, well weaned, very quiet and ready to take onto heavier export feedlot entry weights or to grassfed MSA bullocks. These don’t look to have suffered any setbacks at any stage and have grown out well. We have received excellent feedback from past buyers about their performance. The beef industry is flying so if you want to fill a paddock buy from the top shelf and consider these.

Grazing Conditions
Running on developed Brigalow / Bottletree softwood scrub country with a good body of lush Buffel that has responded very well from past 3 weeks of storm activity. Very dry before and were supplementary fed dry lick on the dry frosted Buffel grass.
Returned to: Large holding paddock with ample feed reserves to well and truly hold them.
Vendor Comments
Seasonal conditions were pretty dry up until 3 weeks ago and these are part of a normal annual turnoff.
