CALVES WERE VERY QUIET IN THE PADDOCK, WOULD WALK UP TO YOU WITH MUM. ONCE IN THE YARDS AND DRAFTED OFF COWS, STEERS MOVED AROUND QUIETLY UNLESS EXCESS PRESSURE WAS APPLIED. THROUGH THE RACE AND CRUSH STEERS REMAINED COMFORTABLE, WITH 2 BECOMING A LITTLE PANICED IN THE CRUSH, BOTH SETTLED ONCE BACK WITH THE MOB.

A VERY GOOD QUALITY LINE OF BRAHMAN CROSS STEERS OUT OF MEDIUM FRAMED COWS. CATTLE ARE QUIET TO HANDLE. THEY WERE BACKLINED ON THE DAY OF ASSESSMENT. STEERS ARE RUNNING ON OAT CROP WITH THEIR MOTHERS. THEY ARE IN FRESH 2 SCORE CONDITION AND GOING FOWARD.
