An excellent opportunity to purchase 150 x 10-11 month old weaned Rennylea and Hazeldean Blood Angus Heifers. Offered in 2 x lots of 75, the heifers are currently growing at an average of 1kg/day and given the opportunity are well positioned for a spring joining program. By Rennylea and Hazeldean sires selected for above breed ave EBVs. Ellendon focuses on industry leading 400 day growth, fertility, calving ease and docility traits.
The Ellendon herd is regarded for producing fertile, docile cows with excellent conformation. Animal husbandry is a feature, all heifers have been fully vaccinated for Pestivirus, 7 in 1 and drenched with Ivermectin and Doromectin. The heifers were yard weaned in early March and imprinted for supplementary feeding and educated with dogs and stockmen. The heifers are in excellent condition and offer buyers the opportunity to join in the spring. A 10% tail was classed out at assessment. Note: a small % of heifers exhibit lice rub and light eye scarring.
