144 VGQ HGP Free Vendor Bred Droughtmaster & Crossbred Steers. Majority Exhibit Good Bone, Length, Depth and Frame for their age. These Steers are from a well Regarded, Control Mated Herd & are suitable to grow out to Heavy Feeders or Bullocks. They are Quiet, have Good Feet & are Tidy around the Head. They have been running in a rotational grazing system after being weaned & are used to Electric Fences as well as Medicated Water (urea phosphate & ammonium sulphate plus trace elements, brand name ‘uphos’). Please note the tight weight range & compensatory weight gain in these Steers. They were weighed 10 days prior to assessment & have lost approx 10kg since, pugging around paddock after 125mm of rain. There are 6 Steers with minor Flybite Marks & 1 Steer with a Swampy Back that is noticeable but not affecting his performance. Steers are PCAS Eligible.
