Heifers were good to handle in to the yards using two dogs and a side by side. Heifers were respectful and pliable throughout the assessment process, the heifers noted as being slightly stirry were anxious when confined but settled immediately upon release.

A vendor bred line of crossbred heifers that are mostly flatback types. Heifers have responded rapidly, in recent weeks, to improved nutrition and have the frame to continue if given the opportunity. Consider suitable for most backgrounding/fattening enterprises, or alternatively most have the breed quality to be used as breeders. Buyers please note that only 52 heifers were weighed due to a malfunction of the scales, which proved terminal. Assessor if confident that weights are indicative of the mob average, however a live weight option is available. NB Same vendor has 17 steers available this sale.
