A neat line of 18 unweaned vealer heifers, these heifers are being offered on A+ for the first time.
Normally these cattle would be sold at Naracoorte in one of the two special weaner sales. Due to the season being so short they need to be offloaded a month earlier.
The herd is predominantly AA cows with a percentage being AAxMG (grey in colour), vealers sired by Angus Pathfinder blood bulls or Shorthorn Bulls (Caskiben and Trojon blood) This line of calves will include 15 blacks, 2 greys and 1 red as they were at assessment.
Bottom weight of 232kg top weight of 318kg at assessment to avg 252kg. calves were returned to the same paddock on the cow after the assessment.
