Steers handled well in the yards for only their second day being weaned and are being put through a proper weaning process. Some steers did push up the race when entering the crush but settled well when back in the mob.

Assessor Comments
Offering 125 Angus Cross backgrounder steers that averaged 242.9kg live at assessment. These steers are predominately out of Charbray and Brahman cross cows and are all sired by Ardrossan Angus Bulls. The steers were all weaned the day prior to assessment and will continue to be until delivery. The steers are not carrying excess condition and will be a great asset to put away as backgrounders and grow out into feeders. Please note there were 7 steers noted with weeping eyes and 2 with light scarring on one eye.
