Steers were good to handle in the yard. There was only the odd Steer becoming agitated whilst confined in the crush but quickly settled down once returning to the mob.

Buyers a very good line of 32 Composite Steers that present in good store condition. They stand on good bone along with good confirmation & have all the right attributes to make these steers reach their full potential. Approximately two steers have been late marked, four steers with small warts around eyes, no problem with vision. Steers have been on oats since the 2/6/24 and are starting to do well, they have dags around tail from the oats. A good line of Composite cross steers that will not disappoint any buyer. Please see photos for breed satisfaction. Steers sold c/kg and are delivered to the Morven railway hub yards. please see weighing instructions. Buyers note vendor has another lot of steers in same sale.

Vendor will deliver to Morven Railway Hub yards the night before delivery. Steers will have an overnight wet curfew in the Morven yards and will be weighed first thing the following morning. Vendor will pay weigh and unloading and loading fees.

He has stood out since a calf & we picked him to use in the stud late last year & early this year as we were so taken by him.His first calves are due in coming weeks. He has so much capacity, length, volume, extra bone & depth of flank for a mid frame score bull. Even though used on cows in the stud, he has come through as one of the heaviest bulls in the sale at over 1000kgs. Such an easy doing bull, he moves effortlessly regardless of his weight. He has a very strong sires head, very good structural scores, tidy sheath set up & huge scrotal at 46cms & is very quiet. Slick, soft skin type top it off. His EBV data matches him with Top 5% all growth categories & carcase weight with above average EMA, fats & beef yield. On top of this he has moderate birth weight & short gestation EBVs. He was a calf at foot when we purchased his dam at the Millah Murrah cow sale for $70,000 last year. She is now a donor cow in our herd. His sire is the $280,000 Millah Murrah Rocket man, so he is bred in the purple. He was one of the crowd favourites at Beef week at Rocky where we had him on display. He is very docile & a bit of a character with a strong sires head. He is an early maturing, positive fat bull that exhibits extreme thickness right through with a beautiful slick skin type, very tidy sheath & good scrotal development. Possibly could suit a Brangus stud breeding program we think to add some thickness & doing ability without losing the slick skin type. Top 20% 400 day growth & Top 5% & 15% for fats. DonÕt miss this good young bull.
