Typically the Winnidad cattle are very good to handle. Working steers through was no issue, but they did seem worked up when weighing. They had just been run in from paddock and three different faces would have been contributing factors. Steers stood, walked or trotted in holding paddock when photographing and showed no real urgency to get away.

Assessor Comments
A very good quality offering of 137 vendor bred Angus steers offered as a run out that gate of 80 & 57 head. Steers present in store to forward store condition, have received their 7-in-1 booster vaccination and are sired by Chiltern Park & Weeran Angus bulls, bred from a herd of Banquet, Barwidgee & Weeran blood cows. The Winnidad operation selects genetics on structure, above average growth, above 2.0 for IMF and positive fat. The Winnidad herd are noted performance cattle that have performed well for previous purchasers. PCAS & NEE eligible, steers have the breeding & capacity to finish on grass or grain to trade or export weights (NOTE: vendor offers a total of 178 steers this sale over 3 lots).
