Young cattle that are fresh and feeling good. A number of these steers were keen to rush when moving between yards. However the cattle settled well in the mob. They moved through the race and crush well. When drafting only 2 or 3 steers stirred up. We noted the more time we spent with the cattle the better they got.

Assessor Comments
An outstanding line of weaned Angus steers that present the purchaser with an opportunity to secure an even line of vendor bred cattle not usually offered to the market. Taranee Pastoral have been using Reiland Angus bulls for the past 30 years with a focus on structure, 400 & 600 day weights & carcass data. These steers are usually sold to the feedlots in both NSW & Queensland but are offered for sale due to seasonal conditions. This draft of 100 steers is the first draft of the 2023 drop and they present in a store to forward store condition showing excellent bone & type. These cattle are known for their performance and would be ideal to take to feeder weights or as they are pasture reared and anti-biotic free; are eligible for grassfed markets.
