Assessor Comments
A neat B-double of Angus steers all weighed 230kg+ to average 272kg full (230-324kg) at assessment. These steers are the top 70% of the Zilcas bred steers. These steers show good frame and would be ideal to go onto crop of pasture to grow out to feeder or kill weights. All animal health treatments are up to date and have are about to come out of withholding periods in early June. Normally retained and sold as heavy feeder steers in the spring, and are only being offered due to the tough season. Please note: approx. 20% with ring worm scars and arppox. 9 steers with eye scar in one eye.
