Steers handled very well through the yards. emphasis on low stress stock handling and and when worked in this manor had absolutely no concerns. Vendor commented that they did have some trot in the paddock when purchased however have been blocked up and educated and are now very good. predominately mustered with bikes and dogs.

2 decks of light weight coloured steers, predominately Brahman with a small percentage of crossbreds, Braford/Droughtmaster and Charbray.
#1’s with a small percentage of #0’s throughout the mob, #0 steers and heavier steers mouthed as milk tooth.
100% weighed at assessment to average 230kg curfewed. 27hd under 220kg and 8hd over 280kg.
Tidy heads with good temperament and education, handled through the yards with 2 adults and 3 kids with no issues at all, steers came through the race for assessing very well with only the odd steer pushing.
Steers are all purchased from local district and have 3 brands through the mob. All steers have had a 400day HGP that will be active into 2022.
Several repeat buyers will attest to the do-ability of these steers and current ADG’s over the last 2 months of 0.54kg certainly show how good these steers can go.
A great opportunity to purchase a line of light moderate frame steers that have had all the hard work done.

Cattle purchased from Local district 3 x brands amongst this mob. Bred North of Hughenden, weaned and moved to the downs south of Hughenden prior to vendors purchased them.

Steers have averaged 0.54kg/day on a dry body of feed since we purchased them as a trade mob and we couldn't be happier with their performance.
