These heifers were very easy to handle in an excellent set of new yards. They walked around the curved race without any issues. Just the odd few did get a little bit agitated when in the crush being weighed but settled immediately they were let out. Very easy to move from yard to yard. Very odd heifer did trot a little bit when being videoed.

Assessor Comments
Buyers here is an opportunity for a domestic feedlot to access Angus and Angus cross heifers all weighed into a range 321-408kgs (FULL). Heifers have had a taste of grain in feeders in the paddock so they should adapt to a full-blown feedlot environment pretty well. Noted one heifer with some brindle markings in her coat. These were all purchased off the coastal country a bit over 12 months ago as young lightweights and have grown out fairly well considering the dry seasonal conditions that prevailed through most of 2023. They have presented in mainly forward store condition. Buyers note this lot will fill about 2.5 decks however there is an additional lot of heifers in the sale from the same ‘stable’ to fill a full 4 decks (all up 109 head).
