Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These weaners have settled down very well. They are not totally yard savy just yet so odd heifer is easily spooked and most will always follow ring leaders. Nothing that could be described as aggressive in the mob in the bigger yards and they still need to be steadied down through a gateway, not unusual.

Assessor Comments
The Consuelo EU ACCREDITED and PCAS ELIGIBLE Santa backgrounder heifers that have developed a great reputation. Have been offered on A+ for the past 8 years and always attract plenty of repeat buyers who have commented on the great performance these heifers deliver them. Heifers look to have had a tough time since weaning a few months ago, hence they carry no condition at all so with all that said they have the potential to grow out and gain weight quite quickly on better feed. These are genetically sound cattle and should still reach their full potential. There are a few with old ring worm scars, also the usual few with some white on them (either a patch or underline). They are an ideal article for restockers to put away for next year, grow them out and select some replacement breeders out of them. The balance will definitely suit any domestic feedlot order in time. Clean country buyers note they are offered GUARANTEED CLEAR of the dip. Buy now in case it rains.
