Steers worked well through draft and up the race at assessment. There was only on steer considered to be stirry but was more trotty in yards then anything else.

A 2 deck line of soft even Santa & Santa Cross Steers that are PCAS Eligible and present with plenty of compensatory gain to be had on fresh feed. Steers are best described as all frame and present in store condition. Steers were good to handle in the yards with plenty of handling over the last week in hot conditions. 15 steers have been freshly weaned over the last week with the balance being weaned in September 2023. At assessment 1 x steer noticed with warts around eyelid and 1 x steer with ringworm over head and neck but not seen as detrimental. 3 x Steers were noticed to have larger purses, have been checked by a vet and are not seen as having any ruptures and therefore believe to have no issues. At assessment 1 x steer noticed with age brand NB#2 and 79 x steers with age brand NB#3. Buyers please note there are 2 x family brands in this lot.

Yarrawin Santa bulls for many years. Based on Yarrawonga and Waco bloodlines in recent years have introduced Rockingham Santa Bulls.
Grazing Conditions
A mixture of Bulloo river flood country and soft red mulga country with hayed off native pastures. This line have predominantly been on mulga country.
