Assessor Comments
This is a very smart lot of EU accredited weaned Angus steers. These steers display all the attributes you would expect from well bred Angus cattle - length, thickness and bone. They were weaned Mid January and have running in series of small paddocks since. Easy steers to handle and well educated. They present in fresh condition with clean shiny coats and would be ideal to go onto crop. Very well bred by "Naracoorte Angus" Stud Bulls and out of home bred medium and large frame Naracoorte cows. "Naracoorte" cattle have a strong performance reputation and these should be no different. These steers should suit a wide range of purchasers and will thrive in all areas. A couple of steers had the slightest cloudy eye - not detrimental. Eligible for Antibiotic Free and Pasture Fed markets. Not to be over looked.
