Yard weaned heifers that haven't been back to the yards since weaning so there were some that were a bit flighty when put under some pressure but fine as a mob and certainly were a lot more comfortable with us at the end of the assessment. I've been selling Glenfalloch bred cattle for in excess of 30 years and the Murdoch family pride themselves on the quality and temperament of their herd.

Assessor Comments
Annual draft of the Glenfalloch bred 8-9 month old Angus heifer weaners with 20+ years of Dunoon Angus genetics behind them and bred out of large framed volume cows. Heifers that have a dual purpose to either join and be excellent future breeders or take out to a heavy kill. Heifers were yard weaned in late March/early April for 7 days and present as a very even line of proper bred weaners. Noted two heifers with old pinkeye scarring at assessment. PCAS Grassfed declaration available on request. Heifers are situated 5 minutes off the Hume Freeway with B Double access.
