Heifers were very quiet to handle in all sections of the yards. There were two that did become fidgety on the weigh platform so considered slightly stirry. These have settled down very well since weaning and the education process.

Buyers here is a deck load of heifers best described as Composites (see breed history). These are bred in lighter country but don’t look to have had any setbacks since birth and I would expect these to perform very well on some heavier country. Most have plenty of shape, bone and softness clearly visible in the photos/video. All heifers look to be very clear in the eye (only 1 heifer with an old eye scar) and no nasal discharges evident that can be prevalent in the winter months after weaning so consider to be in good health. These will suit to background to heavier weights to domestic entry specs. These cattle do have a pretty good record on grain and past buyers have commented that the steer portion regularly gain at well over 2kgs/day with no health issues, unsure about the heifers though. Four lots in sale from this property as well as other lots in the Inglewood district that can be used to make loads up.
