Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Mustered to a relatively small set of portables in a congested environment yet very well and expertly handled with very good stockmanship the steers flowed through the race and crush well. A very small number were aggressive or agitated when confined or isolated yet settled well when returned to the mob. Cattle were turned out directly after assessment with horses and bikes and left the yard quietly.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a good to very good quality line of ORGANIC USDA, NOP and GAP certified steers that will suit all export feeder and/or organic programs. Steers are progeny of cows purchased Georgina Gold and Ultrablack programs and are noted performers on either crop, grass or grain. These steers presented in mainly store to forward store condition so as a result I would expect plenty of compensatory gain given the right feed conditions. Buyers please refer to the videos and photos for full and accurate breed description. There are 205 steers in this run, they will be sold in 2 fair and even lots. Also noted the odd steer with fly rub on the neck and face. Note there are 2 lots from Mt Harden in this sale, all 1 brand.

Vendor Comments
A good run of ORGANIC Ultrablack cross steers that are showing plenty of frame and no excessive condition. These should really bounce ahead on either crop, grass or on feed. The heavier steers were mouthed showing milk and 2 teeth.
