Cattle are well educated through the yards with a big emphasis on quiet stock handling. Weaners have been through the draft prior to assessment.

A 3 deck line of soft even Santa & Santa Cross Steers that are PCAS Eligible and present with plenty of compensatory gain. Steers are best described as medium to large framed and present in strong store condition. This line of cattle show good frame, length and bone and are known to perform on feed growing out to good heavy kill weights. Steers were good to handle in the yards with plenty of handling over the last 2 weeks. 25 steers have been freshly weaned over the last 2 weeks with the balance being weaned in March 2024. At assessment 3 x steers were noticed with some small warts around eyelid & 1 x Steer was seen with a larger sack but was checked in the crush & couldn’t find any issues. At assessment 48 steers noticed with age brand NB#3 and 45 steers with age brand NB#4. Mouthed 20 head at assessment with only 2 x head starting to show some wear.
