These have been well handled cattle however some heifers stirred when put under pressure in yards and also in the crush. Cattle are traditionally mustered using bikes and vehicles. If dogs and horses are the practice used by purchaser then it is recommended that the heifers are familiarised with this practice in yards.

Assessor Comments
Annual sale of 2023 spring drop heifers. The Baxter Agricultural Company herd is a widely regarded Angus herd in the region and are noted doing cattle. Bred by high indexing Dunoon bulls these heifers will perform extremely well in many environments. All yard weaned and well handled these heifers carry plenty of frame and are starting to lose their winter hair and move forward. Please note five heifers presented with pinkeye scarring in one eye only and seven steers noted with ring worm around the eyes and ears. This one mark line of vendor bred heifers would be suitable to background as feeders or take onto domestic or export processing weights.
