Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers were generally very good to handle. They are typical of station cattle, used to big areas that like to run through gateways and got slightly stirry when under pressure in the race but at NO time in open yard with them did they make me nervous. These steers should be no problem for most people with half decent facilities and half decent stockmanship. I would be more than happy to send to most of my clients, however if you want docile cattle these are not for you.

Assessor Comments
Excellent quality draft of "Yammatree" steers that have done exceptionally well in the containment pens in the last few months since weaning. These steers were weaned early off vendors northern property in September and since their induction into the feedlot have absolutely exploded, all the hard work has been done here with getting the steers rumen functioning in the right manner. These steers are ideal for anyone to take onto heavier weights, The Yammatree steers are highly sort after from major feedlots and we have had great feedback on their performance in the last few years. Opportunity to put 156 together sold in 2 lots of 78
