Stand-out manners on these heifers. Having been properly educated from a young age. Tailed with dogs & horses, & handled multiple times through the yards. They were easy to draft, easy to bring up the race and easy to photograph in the laneway. One heifer was a tad anxious when being blocked up in the laneway for photos, coming out of the mob, having a look, then pushing her way back in in a nervous manner. For this, she’s been listed above as stirry.

Assessor Comments
Small, but top quality line of the renowned Davilak Pastoral Heifers. Generations of pure Glendaloch Angus Blood in these females. All the animal health treatments thrown at them as yearlings, and properly educated from a young age. Heifers that are all frame, showing all the attributes of a quality breeder, and looking like they’ll all make a 700kg cow no worries. Females with a beautiful shine bouncing off their back and looking in optimal condition to put out with the bulls on delivery. Alternatively, these heifers have the genetics & scope to handle any fattening market, either start on feed or tip out and continue on as grass fat bodies, but it would be disappointing not to see them become mums.
