Cattle handled very well through the yards and during the period of processing, with only the odd Heifer getting agitated in the crush. Vendors have put time and care into the mob so given appropriate stock handling practices are followed the temperament of these heifers will remain.

An opportunity to purchase an excellent young line of Unweaned Heifers, showing great growth for age. They have benefitted from being raised on fresh feed and boosted by follow up rains throughout the year. These are the progeny from 2019 drop first calving heifers purchased PTIC ex Longreach in late 2020, sired by predominately Brahman bulls but also had access to the Droughtmaster bull. *Please see photos for any signs of Droughtmaster*
These Heifers are an excellent example of quality pastoral breeding, ready to bounce with the opportunity of further feed, they would continue to grow and mature into a class line of breeders or could suite feedlot processing. Only one heifer showing longer horn than the rest, please see photos. (Note 1 heifer had slight pink eye which we treated with Terrimycin at assessment and wasn’t deemed detrimental) could be removed on delivery if required.

2019 Drop PTIC Brahman cows purchased ex Longreach after rains to restock the cattle herd. Calves were sired by quality Brahman bulls and a small percentage of Droughtmaster bulls with calves showing more Brahman traits throughout.
