Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Heifers handled well throughout the drafting and weighing at assessment, some heifers show typical signs of fresh weaner cattle becoming flighty when put under pressure and confined in the crush during weighing. Large majority of the heifers were quiet during the photos and videos with only a handful staying flighty during the photographing and video process at assessment. Overall heifers handled well for fresh weaner cattle and will be no dramas for capable cattlemen.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a neat deck lot of good quality Charolais infused heifers for your competition. These heifers are out of good medium to large framed droughtmaster cows predominantly from Clonlara Droughtmaster and Glen Fosslyn Droughtmaster blood sired by very good Barambah-dale Charolais bulls. These heifers present in store condition with minimal bloom left on them after the weaning process. These heifers would be an ideal article to finish off for feeder markets off crop or equally a great article of heifers to buy and put away before the fast approaching Spring. Buyers give these heifers a backline and introduce them to good pastures and they will perform for you. Please note the same vendor is offering the Droughtmaster and Droughtmaster cross sisters in the same Weaner and Yearling Sale.
