Assessor Comments
An outstanding line of vendor bred angus steers that have been yard weaned, drenched and vaccinated. These 78 steers are the top half of the vendor's steers, with the younger brothers remaining on farm to be grown out. The steers are out of direct Booroomooka and Clunie Range cows by Milla Murrah and JT Angus Bulls. Yard weaning commenced on the 15th of March where the steers were handled regularly and fed oaten hay .Due to the wet weather the steers have been put back in the paddock .They're extremely quiet and were a pleasure to assess. The steers averaged 310 kgs (275 - 370kg) at assessment, historically the vendors cattle have maintained weight through weaning. Please note, 1 steer has been treated for pink eye in early March and for precaution was retreated and a patch applied at weaning, it is not considered detrimental. With all the work done, this is a great opportunity to purchase a top quality line of steers to background for the feedlot or grow out. Buy with confidence
