The weaners were good to handle in the yards - they are quick but not aggressive. I found the Steer portion better to handle than the Heifers although they have been running together and weaned under the same circumstances.

Vendor has been breeding high quality ANGUS cattle in the Keith district for decades. Good weight for age in all of the calves which reflects the careful genetic selection that has been made for many years.
Tough seasonal conditions locally has forced these lines of weaners onto the market earlier than normal years. The calves are fresh and have held up well but show a bit of copper colour in the coats which we would normally put down to B12 deficiency. IDEAL CALVES TO BACKGROUND FOR GRASS OR GRAIN FINISHING.
