Paddock
Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Although the steers are not weaned, they were easy to handle and mostly stepped straight onto the platform having sniffed it. A couple pushed up the race, more from confinement anxiety than temperament. The weaning regime for a new owner shouldn't be too onerous.

Assessor Comments
A well bred group of medium to large framed steers in forward store condition, ready to go on and become great feeders or grass fed heavy steers. The steers appear to be partly weaned by their mothers just looking at their coats and demeanour. The vendor has paid particular attention to bulls selected, and it shows. One steer has the odd wart around the head.
