Green young steers. Some that still have a bigger flight zone, but overall good to handle. All led up the race sensibly and without hassle. Just the odd calf in the yards that had a bit of trot in him. Calves that will improve with age and education.

Very smart line of young steers that have been properly weaned up and are ready to take on. These steers are out of a self replacing herd of very large framed Cows, by select Ardrossan Bulls. Usually retained and sold at feeder weights direct to Rangers. Offered for the first time on the AuctionsPlus platform as weaners. These are renowned doing young cattle that will go on and perform with years of genetics behind them. Buyers please Note. 1 steer was only cut last week, 4 Steers presented with a white flank, 1 steer with a few small warts on his head. 1 Steer noted with a minor eye blemish (small blue dot) None of the above deemed detrimental. Late cut steer was done properly and no issues anticipated with growing out of any ‘bully’ traits.
