Assessor Comments
On offer by "Mannion Pastoral" Ex Lake Wallace stn are 91 head of 182 run of the gate and evenly split of the annual draft of 2023 drop Angus steers. At assessment weighed 285-438kg to average 353.5kg. Sired by Larrikin Angus bulls over Angus, and very small percentage Angus cross cows with some throw back to their crosses with slight excess skin on the neck and a shinier coat. These steers have matured well with the season in the far west and present in forward store condition. Being 7-12 months of age steers are showing good growth, stretch and muscle for age and have previously preformed well in the paddock and feedlot alike. Although used to running in big mobs in large paddocks these cattle have been well handled showing good temperament and were a pleasure to work in the yards.
