Well behaved lot of females to assess. Handled well in close proximity to the drafter. A few heifers with bigger flight zones showed a little bit of anxiety when drafted off on their own, listed above as slightly stirry. All led up through the race and on to the scales smoothly, some just showing a bit of nervousness, shifting about and flicking their tail, again, listed above as slightly stirry. Overall, an easy, sensible line of heifers to handle.

Riversdale, or Docker Plains Pastoral Company runs one of the oldest established herds of Angus cattle in the country. Originally based on Landfall genetics, particularly focusing on the Leonardo & Compliment lineage, with majority of these females being by a Bontharambo sire (Bontharambo stud being one of the oldest foundation studs in Australia) These young healthy females are traditional, square bodied heifers that will grow in to moderate framed, compact, high muscling matrons. Alternatively, these cattle are renowned grass finishers and would suit to turn out and continue on pastures or start on a feed ration. Buyers please Note. 1 Heifer in mob has had an antibiotic (tagged) Small % with a white splash on their flank, 1 with white forward of the navel, 3 noted with a minor eye blemish, 1 with a fully white eye - option to leave her out.
