Assessor Comments
A good quality line 52 Simmental/Simbrah cross steers. Steers have plenty of bone and stretch to take through to feedlot or heavier kill weights. Steers mainly sired by Monivae 3/4 Simmental 1/4 Simbrah Bulls with one Charolais bull. Cows are mainly Droughtmaster X, Charbray, Charolais, Brangus, Brahman and Composite cows. Please see photos and video for own satisfaction. Steers will be handled and fed good quality oaten hay in yards for 3-4 days from assessment then let out and worked in a paddock up until delivery with bikes horses and dogs. At assessment it was noticed that one steer with a slightly damaged horn it is not detrimental. Some of the steers are vendor bred however, a some are not vendor bred as were purchased as a cow & calf unit. It was noted at assessment some cattle were showing signs of lice with rub marks on neck. A great line of weaned steers that will continue to move forward and be a quality asset to any steer operation to suite any market.
