Noted approx. 10 steers with some red hair follicles in the ear tips (see photo). Not sure what would cause this, maybe a genetic imperfection coming through from a bull, however they are all Angus x Angus.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, very good quality well bred Angus steers from a regular AuctionsPlus user. These are in mainly store condition and being bred on lighter country, I would envisage they will provide plenty of compensatory gain and fly ahead if they get access to good quality feed or crop on some heavier country. The weaning process has been really effective on these, they are dead quiet. Ideal to background to heavier domestic or export feeder weights. They definitely haven’t had any setbacks and the photos/video will indicate they possess plenty of length, depth of barrel, bone and muscle development for such young steers. They also look to be in excellent health very clean in the muzzle and mostly clear in the eyes. The steers have had no grain or antibiotics at any stage of their life so can be purchased PCAS eligible. Steers are attracting repeat buyers so they must perform very well. The Angus job is flying at the moment and streets ahead of the balance of the market so don’t miss out here.
