Assessor Comments
A predominantly good line of #0 & #1 steers ready to perform on quality pasture! 80% flatback line with 20% minimal hump throughout. Weighed into a TIGHT GROUP of 300kg to 385kg steers with an average of 326.9kg, this was after removing a realistic but generous 6% CURFEW consideration . Colour 61% red, 31% red baldy, 6% honey, 2% brown/brindle/other. Steers are generally quiet to handle. The Majority of this line are show good bone & frame structure, quality confirmation with plenty of growth potential to Feeder Steers or carry on to grow into Bullocks. Steers are purchased with predominantly 2 brands throughout, therefore explaining an approximate 10% tail end in quality in this mob of some poor types steer throughout. Some steers display weaping eyes, due to excessive black house fly population, this is not expected to affect animals performance. NO HGP. Steers where easy to work through the yards.
