Heifers were good to handle in weigh box at assessment. Heifers are still going through their weaning program and show their breed characteristics and do tend to run in open bigger yards and through gate ways. I would recommend further handling and educating.

Buyers a great opportunity to secure a good line Limousin and Shorthorn X Heifers. These Heifers are ideal for a restocker looking to rebuild numbers for a breeding operation. Heifers are out of a very fertile Cow herd, Cows are culled every year on fertility and performance. Heifers show great bone and frame with nice muscle expressions and would grow out to make exceptional Cows. Heifers would be ideal to put onto a winter crop to join in the spring to a Bull of your choice to suit all markets. Please note Heifers had a big curfew being off Cows and feed for up to 48hrs leaving room for compensatory gains. Please note 1 Heifer was born with a stumpy tail but does not show any signs of effecting her performance (please view in photos). Same vendor same sale is offering the lead of the Steer portion also.
