Very quiet young females, that were all very well behaved throughout the assessment, led up the race quietly, all stood sensibly on the crush, and exited at a walk, 1 Heifer a bit anxious in the crush, doing some stomping and weaving. Very quiet to share the yards with for photographing, no rushing through any gateways or showing any signs of anxiety in the yards. A pleasure to handle, and a real credit to the vendor.

Pure Ardenside* Angus Blood Heifers (*40 years of pure Te Mania genetics) Heifers are long bodied, out of large framed cows, and should mature to be good, large framed, proper females. Bred for ease of calving, correct structure & 600 day growth. Heifers with a real stand out temperament that were a pleasure to share the yards with, and would make a lovely line of breeders, ready to tip out with the bulls at the buyers discretion. Alternatively, Heifers are well grown with plenty of frame and offer some good compensatory weight gain opportunity, and would be ideal to continue on grass, or start on a feed ration & make a Spring supermarket body. Buyers please Note. Vendor has another couple of lots of the lighter sisters in the same sale (6 months younger) and a lot of Autumn drop steers.
